If you’re reading this blog post, you probably love succulents as much as we do. Succulents are such a beautiful variety of plant that doesn’t need much taking care of, which makes them amazing plants to decorate your home, garden, or even events with. We have come up with a few creative suggestions that we believe you would enjoy making or buying for any occasion.
1. Succulent wreath
First of all, if you are looking for something creative to decorate on your front door to welcome guests, on your back door next to your garden, or anywhere you think is best suited with a wreath, this beautiful collaboration could be a perfect creative alternative to the traditional wreaths we are all familiar with. If you would like to make these wreaths at home, all you would need is:
- A Presoaked Sphagnum Moss Wreath
- Green Pins
- Chopsticks
- Succulent Clips
All you would need to do is bore a hole in the moss wreath with a chopstick, place the succulent clips in the holes, and secure some of the succulents down with the green pins to keep them in place.
2. Wedding Centerpiece/Bouquet
For those of you who might be planning a wedding, this idea is for you. During your wedding, it is natural to incorporate items you love into the celebration because the wedding is a symbol of your love with your partner. Typically people chose their favorite flower at their wedding; however, if you are someone like us, you love succulents more than flowers and would be more drawn to choosing succulents instead. We believe that they are a beautiful alternative to the traditional centerpieces and bouquets and people would remember them more than the traditional flowers they would see at any wedding.
3. Party Favors/Decoration
We know planning a party could be a lot of work. Not only do you have to think about the decoration and the food, but you also have to think of what to do for party favors. Whether it’s for someone’s birthday, a baby shower, or a bridal party, this idea could be a simple alternative for the succulent lovers. Just grab a ton of succulents in tiny pots, display them as decoration at your party, and at the end of your party, ask everyone to take a succulent home to grow. Not only is this combining decoration and party favors into one, this gives your party a simple reminder of your event to sit at their desk while they work, their dining table where they eat, or wherever they wish. And like we said, succulents aren’t hard to manage.
